Nature

Staufen im Breisgau is situated at southern end of south Black Forest nature reserve.  The valley of the River Neumagen emerges from the Münstertal and enters Rhine Valley Rhine.  The Staufen whine growing area is located in the north of the valley and the hilly landscape of the Markgräflerland is in the southwest (Heitersheim).
